All of the chilly temps lately have us dreaming of warmer weather and wearing easy breezy Resort/Spring styles. One of my favorite designers for warm weather is Megan Park. She always has amazing prints and her pieces are so effortless and easy to wear. Take a peek below at some of the pieces from her fabulous Resort collection that are in store now! We absolutely love the Maui Print that is featured in this next outfit. The colors are vibrant and fun and the pattern looks like it was hand drawn on this halter top giving it a whimsical feel. We paired the blouse with a great fitting pair of J Brand skinny jeans. We cuffed the jeans to give it a casual feel and paired it with a pair of Jerome Dreyfuss heels (they are on super sale right now). We finished it off by layering multiple black beaded necklaces.
The next dress could double as a great cover-up on your next vacation. The beautiful floral hand embroidered detailing at the top of the dress give it a real richness! To make this dress more appropriate for cooler weather we styled it with a pair of Rebecca Minkoff suede fringe booties. We added a great cuff by Dannijo and earrings by Kendra Scott.
We love the Maui print so much we had to show you another style that features the gorgeous print. This maxi is what dreams are made of! What isn’t there to love about this dress? We paired it with these super fun and flirty earrings that were made to go with this maxi!
A comfortable dress that can easily transition from day to night is at the top of my must have list. Nicole Miller has met all my needs with her Mercedes Dress made from stretch jersey. I wore this dress last weekend while we were in Charleston for a day of meetings. It was the perfect piece for the beautiful weather we had, and I didn’t even need to worry about wearing a coat since it has long sleeves. The edgy black and white lumen print is not only flattering, but adds some spark to a classic color combination. During the day I paired the dress with a super comfortable pair of over the knee boots. I am loving the trend this year with these super tall boots and have been wearing them non-stop. Fringe is everywhere this spring, from shoes to bags. Rebecca Minkoff hit the trend perfectly with the Jemma Crossbody. I absolutely love the fringe and grommet detailing on this bag and its a great size to carry your essentials without being weighed down. The Miljas Hat by Malene Birger has become a go to of mine on days when I know I am going to be outside for awhile. It instantly makes me feel more chic and polished. For nighttime I simply switched out my boots for a pair of strappy heels and blue python printed clutch by DVF. This dress will definitely be one you will want to wear a number of different ways because its so comfortable and chic!
We just received a new shipment in from Equipment this weekend and we just had to share some of the pieces with you. Their silk shirts and dresses are some of our favorite go to items that are timeless. Recently we’ve fallen in love with their super soft sweaters. If you haven’t had a chance to check out this brand yet you need to! You will want to live in their silk pieces all year round. We styled three different looks with some of the new pieces below and the rest are available to buy at https://lovemosaic.com/categories/Designers/Equipment/
It all about animal prints today on the blog! Leopard is one of my all time favorite animal prints and is so on trend this fall. I love how people are calling Leopard the new black and treating it as if it were a neutral color. It truly is a versatile print that can be worn pretty much with anything so it is definitely a timeless print.
I love the mod style of this Rachel Zoe dress and the leopard accent at the hem. It is such a simple, but striking look that can be worn so many ways. I styled it here with heels and a fabulous clutch by Nanette Lepore, but I can also see this dress with an elegant coat and boots. This is a dress you will reach for over and over again for years to come.
I love the fun, flirty feel of this outfit! This Diane Von Furstenburg sweater pairs perfectly with the BCBG aline skirt and by Malene Birger boots and hat. The gray metallic leopard print is different from what you normally see and the conservative cut of the sweater make this a timeless piece. I previously styled this sweater with jeans and sneakers so you can see the versatility of this piece.
A leopard coat is a must have for any chic lady! It transforms a simple black dress into a fabulous date night look. This La Prestic Ouiston coat is made from vintage scarves and pairs so nicely with this black BCBG dress and Megan Park necklace. I finished the outfit with this fur Raoul clutch and strappy heels.
After an amazing nights rest, I woke up refreshed and ready for day 2 in New York City. I started the day at the fhitting room, a High Intensity Training boutique fitness studio delivering a comprehensive, body-changing workout in a small class environment. It was an amazing work out that I know torched a ton of calories and it flew by! I am hoping to get to another class before the trip is over.
During the afternoon, we headed back to the Lincoln Center for Mara Hoffman’s Spring 2015 runway show. Her show is always one of my favorites and it didn’t disappoint. I had been looking for an excuse to snag this Mara Long Maxi skirt and I knew this would be the perfect chance to wear it! I paired it with a BCBG fitted top and a Rebecca Minkoff bag.
It was hard to narrow it down but these are some of my favorites from the presentation.
We headed to Hakkasan for dinner. It was my second visit and it was delicious. We had the Cod topped with truffles, the Wagyu beef tenderloin and jasmine rice. The cocktails were out of this world. We sipped on the Green Destiny(vodka, cucumber, kiwi and apple juice) and a passion fruit puree and prosecco bellini!
A mosaic is a work of art created by assembling beautiful pieces of brightly colored materials, such as glass, metals or stone, to create an image. Mosaic is an upscale contemporary women’s boutique that draws its inspiration from the fundamental lesson communicated by these pictures made from bits and pieces — that the whole is always greater than the sum of its parts. Whether you’re assembling a single outfit or an entire wardrobe, we can help you find just the right pieces and make sure they work together to create the image you want to project. Read more....
