This past Friday night, we headed to the magical Moore Farms Botanical Gardens for MuscaDine! It was MuscaDine’s second event and all the proceeds go to the Lake City Beautification Committee. Each year this event features a different organization and the traditional Southern fruit, muscadine grapes. From the decor to the menu muscadine grapes are the star of the night. Table 118, a local restaurant here in Lake City created a three course dinner that put muscadine grapes in the spotlight. We sipped on fabulous wines and enjoyed a lovely evening in the beautiful gardens. This garden is a hidden gem in Lake City. They use innovational horticultural practices combined with rural gardening traditions to reinterpret what it means to be a Southern garden. We would definitely recommend visiting this awesome place if you’re in the area. Click here for more information.
When choosing our outfits for the evening we were surprised to see that we both chose a Mara Hoffman dress. I shouldn’t say we were that surprised, her pieces are so unique and eye catching that you can’t help but be drawn to them. After we decided on our dresses we thought it would be fun to pair them with Megan Park’s bold statement bib necklaces. These necklaces are hand crafted in Australia like works of art.
