Day 3 & 4 of market were full of awesome showroom appointments. We saw so many great things the first two days it was hard to think it could get any better….but it did! See some of our favorite appointments below!
We were so excited when we found out that Tucker was re-launching! Tucker always was a great seller and they had such amazing prints. This holds true for their Spring 2017 collection as well!
Next we headed to Self Portrait. This will be a new line for Mosaic and the pieces are like works of art. The detailing is unreal!
Self Portrait offered this cool off the shoulder neckline on many of their silhouettes.
Megan Park is always a delight to see and their Spring ’17 collection offers some great prints and beautiful embroidery!

We started our day at Oscar de la Renta, which is always a treat!

Zimmermann is always a highlight of every buying trip. They recently moved to a new showroom space and it was beautiful!
The showroom wasn’t the only beautiful thing at Zimmermann. The collection was romantic, feminine and refined.
Ulla Johnson has become one of our favorite designers across the board! We could dedicate a whole post to just her Spring collection but we narrowed it down to some of the highlights! These are some of the amazing looks from her runway presentation.

We started off day 1 of market at the Coterie and it was busy, busy, busy! We saw almost 16 different lines and our heads are still spinning at how beautiful Spring 2017 looks thus far. Below are some of the highlights from the day!

Rachel Zoe’s shoe collection featured great pops of gold!
Last month I made a quick day trip to NYC to see several lines for Spring 2017. While I was there I was able to pay a quick visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to see the Spring Costume Institute exhibition Manus x Machina. The exhibition explores how fashion designers have combined and are combining the handmade (manus) and the machine-made (machina) in creating haute couture and avant-garde ready-to-wear. The exhibition showcases more than 170 ensembles dating from the early 20th century to the present.
The exhibition was incredible to see in person and I could have spent hours and hours looking at each ensemble. I took pictures of my favorites so I could share with you all even though these pictures don’t quite do these works of art justice. If anyone is in NYC you should definitely try and see it. It is on exhibition until September 5th. See some of my favorites below!

All of the chilly temps lately have us dreaming of warmer weather and wearing easy breezy Resort/Spring styles. One of my favorite designers for warm weather is Megan Park. She always has amazing prints and her pieces are so effortless and easy to wear. Take a peek below at some of the pieces from her fabulous Resort collection that are in store now! This first look features the Molokai Crepe Sundress. This dress features a cute tie detailing on each side and has a vivid floral print featuring bright red and a pretty bubblegum pink. We paired it with the Megan Park Cluster necklace, a Rebecca Minkoff Saddle Crossbody and Rebecca Minkoff Rosalie heels.
We absolutely love the Maui Print that is featured in this next outfit. The colors are vibrant and fun and the pattern looks like it was hand drawn on this halter top giving it a whimsical feel. We paired the blouse with a great fitting pair of J Brand skinny jeans. We cuffed the jeans to give it a casual feel and paired it with a pair of Jerome Dreyfuss heels (they are on super sale right now). We finished it off by layering multiple black beaded necklaces.
The next dress could double as a great cover-up on your next vacation. The beautiful floral hand embroidered detailing at the top of the dress give it a real richness! To make this dress more appropriate for cooler weather we styled it with a pair of Rebecca Minkoff suede fringe booties. We added a great cuff by Dannijo and earrings by Kendra Scott.
We love the Maui print so much we had to show you another style that features the gorgeous print. This maxi is what dreams are made of! What isn’t there to love about this dress? We paired it with these super fun and flirty earrings that were made to go with this maxi!
Countdown to Spring: 56 days!
Every shipment of Mara Hoffman brings a little sunshine with it! Our most recent Resort shipment was definitely no exception! The great prints, color combinations and unique silhouettes had us drooling with each piece we pulled out of the box. Mara’s inspiration for the collection came from a recent trip she took to Marrakech. The Moroccan landscapes, textiles and culture all played a vital role in influencing her vision for what Resort 2016 would look like.
One of my favorite pieces from the shipment was the Deep V Dress in a jardin majorelle stone print. I liked this silhouette so much when I first viewed the collection that I also did it in another color way that is as equally beautiful! The silhouette features a built-in, tie back bandeau and the cut out detailing on each side shows just the right amount of skin. We paired it with a pair of ombre Oscar de la Renta fringe earrings, a stack of Eddie Borgo bracelets and Rebecca Minkoff gunmetal heels for a dressier feel. This dress would also pair great with a simple pair of flats for a more casual daytime look.
I was also instantly drawn to this crisp white button down shirt that features a beautiful bright green embroidered leaf print. The light and airy feel make this a blouse one I know I would continue to reach for time and time again. It could be paired with a great pair of casual Current Elliott boyfriend jeans or dressed up with a slouchy dress pant by 10 Crosby. I love this color green combined with chunky gold jewelry. We paired it with a Dannijo gold bib and a Giles and Brother cuff. We also received a romantic white midi dress with this same leaf print embroidery that is stunning!
