We were so excited when we found out that Tucker was re-launching! Tucker always was a great seller and they had such amazing prints. This holds true for their Spring 2017 collection as well!

Next we headed to Self Portrait. This will be a new line for Mosaic and the pieces are like works of art. The detailing is unreal!

Self Portrait offered this cool off the shoulder neckline on many of their silhouettes.

Megan Park is always a delight to see and their Spring ’17 collection offers some great prints and beautiful embroidery!

The last line we saw on Day 3 was another new line…Hemant & Nandita. More awesome prints and super wearable styles.

Woodgrain Weekend

January 24, 2015

Diane von Furstenberg has spiced up some of our favorite silhouettes with her fabulous new print, Grain Shadow.  The McKinley Maxi showcases this fun and funky print in pink, blue, and citrus along with mesh panels and marbled colors.  It features a deep v neck and criss cross back that is easy to slip into.  The fluid silk fabric flows beautifully away from the body and is oh so comfortable.  You will never want to take this dress off once its on!  For Spring and Summer I can see this during the day with simple metallic sandals and a cute hat.  Then at night just swap out the sandals for a great pair of heels and some sparkly jewelry.  We are in love with the Livi earring by Dannijo.  The colorful ear jackets are so hot this season and make such a statement.  You can even pair the jacket with your favorite pair of stud earrings for a different look!

DVF has updated her classic wrap dress with the New Julian Two Mini in a playful shorter length.  The vibrant woodgrain printed silk jersey in pink just pops against any skin color and will brighten your day easily.  This is the perfect dress to pack for your next weekend getaway or night out on the town.  We added a Rebecca Minkoff’s Finn Clutch that can transition from day to night simply by removing the strap.

The Ireland Jumpsuit is a daring and unexpected look that would be great for your next cocktail party.  The gorgeous blue grain shadow print  is so chic with the dramatic keyhole neckline.  Dannijo’s Jovana earrings and Nellie Cuff add the right amount of edge to this sleek outfit.

The Gilmore Blouse is a must have in anyone’s closet.  The relaxed silhouette and electrifying chartreuse color will look great with any pant.  We paired this easy blouse with the Miles pant by Nell, a slouchy pajama style pant that you will want to live in!  Rebecca Minkoff’s Leo Clutch in Black Floral adds a little bit of funk to this sophisticated look.

Transitional Tribal

January 22, 2015

A comfortable dress that can easily transition from day to night is at the top of my must have list.  Nicole Miller has met all my needs with her Mercedes Dress made from stretch jersey.  I wore this dress last weekend while we were in Charleston for a day of meetings.  It was the perfect piece for the beautiful weather we had, and I didn’t even need to worry about wearing a coat since it has long sleeves.  The edgy black and white lumen print is not only flattering, but adds some spark to a classic color combination.  During the day I paired the dress with a super comfortable pair of over the knee boots.  I am loving the trend this year with these super tall boots and have been wearing them non-stop.  Fringe is everywhere this spring, from shoes to bags.  Rebecca Minkoff hit the trend perfectly with the Jemma Crossbody.  I absolutely love the fringe and grommet detailing on this bag and its a great size to carry your essentials without being weighed down.  The Miljas Hat by Malene Birger has become a go to of mine on days when I know I am going to be outside for awhile.  It instantly makes me feel more chic and polished.  For nighttime I simply switched out my boots for a pair of strappy heels and blue python printed clutch by DVF.  This dress will definitely be one you will want to wear a number of different ways because its so comfortable and chic!

Monday Bunday

December 1, 2014

Looking for a polished hairdo that doesn’t take a lot of work?  We have the one for you.  A low bun looks pulled together and chic without being overdone.  Start with curled or wavy hair to give the bun some texture.

Spray your hair with some dry shampoo to add texture and volume to your locks.  Section most of your hair up into a clip on top of your head.  Tease the remaining hair below to add some volume.

With a small section of hair, create a low ponytail at the base of the neck.  This will help provide some stability for the bun.

Use the rest of your hair to create a second ponytail on top of the first.  I suggest using two pony tails so that the bun won’t be weighed down as much if you just used one.

Smooth the top of your hair and begin to spin the pony tails around onto the base.

Let the bun stay full once you’ve finished spinning it around the base and secure it with bobby pins.  Work your way around the bun pinning it securely.  Make sure you take the end pieces that tend to stick out of the bun and tuck them into the bun with more bobby pins.  You want to secure the bun as close to your head as possible so that it doesn’t move.  Finish off with a light hold hair spray.

This bun is supposed to be relaxed and bit messy so don’t worry if you have some loose pieces, it will just add to the look.  This is a great hairdo for second or third day hair after you have had it curled.  Its perfect to hide dirty hair when you don’t have time for anything else.  We love this look for the office as well.  Stay tuned and we are going to show you how to create a bun for a holiday evening party!

Cool in Coco

November 22, 2014

Look no further for a marvelous dress to wear this Holiday season, we have found the one!  The Coco Maxi by Diane Von Furstenberg in a blue python print is absolutely amazing!  No one will be able to look away when you walk into the room in this dress.  It is crafted from luxurious silk jersey and features a one shoulder silhouette with a faux wrap skirt.  This dress was created excuslively for the 40th anniversary of Diane’s iconic wrap dress.  With a self-tie waist and a high slit detail this is truly a show stopper of a dress.  We layered some sparkling Dannijo chokers along with a dazzling pair of earrings for this evening look.  Eddie Borgo cone bracelets in silver accented the dress and other jewelry perfectly.  These bracelets are ones you will reach for everyday regardless of the occasion.  We honestly can’t get enough of them, they look great with everything!  Lastly, we put on some strappy heels to finish the look.  Not only will you look fabulous in this maxi, but you will feel it too!  It is so comfortable you won’t want to take it off at the end of the night.

If you are loving this blue python print as much as we are then you will love the matching clutch!  This Heritage clutch is classic, sleek and refined, perfect for a lady on the go.

Fall Floral

October 5, 2014

Who says you can’t wear florals for Fall? Definitely not Trina Turk!! She has created the most perfect floral pant with a beautiful Fall palette. The Frea pant features a great neutral gray background with pops of burnt orange and fuschia. We love to mix patterns so we paired the pants with a great shirt by Diane von Furstenberg and we finished off the look with a black and nude quilted Raoul bag. Shop this look and others now at
